Money Saver Motel

We booked this accommodation last minute as we found ourselves passing through during high season. Like other reviews mentioned, it is newly remodelled. We were pleasantly surprised as the outside is nothing special. Plenty of free parking, safe neighborhood, close to the highway and the beach. Bed was comfortable, no issues in the room, very clean, Honshu better than some of the holiday inn and La quintas we’ve stayed in before. Nice lady at reception. Only thing was the wifi didn’t work on the second floor by the stairway but we had data so it didn’t matter.

Pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to the room. Very clean and comfortable. Everything was updated. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Our room faced the hospital and I was worried that we would be hearing sirens, but that was not the case at all. We highly recommend this motel for comfort and cleanliness.

Being a Lincoln County resident, I don't stay in hotels unless our power is out. This is quite a basic hotel. It's clean. If you need an affordable place to stay, i would choose this way before a few on 101 in the north end (best Western is good. I'm talking the knights inn and the one close to grocery outlet).

Newly remodeled in the rooms and look great. They definitely don’t match the outside of the building so don’t that deter you from staying. Beds were comfy. Staff was friendly. I was able to do laundry on site. The only thing is with the tile floors in the room there isn’t much to wipe your shoes off on so the floors get dirty from being at the ocean and nothing to sweep it up.

We decided last-minute to extend our beach trip overnight and this was the cheapest room available. It looked very run-down on the outside but like other reviews have said, the room was clearly recently remodeled and perfect - no smells or stains, plenty of outlets and lights, and generally great value for the price. The man working the front desk was very friendly and helpful as well, and nothing about the area seemed unsafe, plus we were just 5 minutes from the beach by foot. Only thing to watch out for is highway noise, didn't bother me but could see being difficult with younger children. Would stay again!

Honestly I kept not clicking on this motel because the name just made it seem weird but we ended up giving it a chance. Really nice rooms! The floor could use a better cleaning but everything else was great. Bed was comfortable enough, hot shower water. You can definitely hear road noise but not enough to keep you awake. We will definitely stay here again if we need a place to sleep in the area

Okay, so I'm not gonna lie. I was definitely judging a book by its cover because the outside is rough. I understand the effects of saltwater on buildings, so I was hopeful that was the issue. The front office looked rundown like one of those creepy scary movies, and as I walked to the room, I was seriously wondering if I'd be sleeping in my car. BUT OH MY THE SURPRISE, the room was actually renovated, clean, and simply decorated. For the price I'd stay here again. FYI, in the picture, the sheets were pulled back to inspect for cleanliness; it had not been slept in yet. Update: The wifi is horrible. The street traffic can be a little loud, but I do sleep light, so that might be my issue. Overall impression is its still work the money.

My sister and I recently took a girls trip and we decided to stay here. It was honestly a wonderful stay! The beds were comfortable the room was clean and the hot water for the shower was amazing!! Beach access is less than a 5 minute walk away (although it is quite a lot of stairs so if you can’t do stairs I would avoid that) and less than a 10 minute walk from the bay front. The staff was friendly and we felt safe there. We were on the back side of the building which is across the street from the hospital but it wasn’t super busy or loud. The front is next to a busy road but I don’t think it would have bothered us much if we were on that side. There was no coffee pot in the room but there is a Dutch brothers and a Chevron across the street (yes the busy one but there were cross walks). The only thing I think that would have made our stay better was if there was a broom and dustpan left for us to use as the floor isn’t carpet and it got sandy really fast. Other than that it was an amazing stay and we will definitely be staying there again!
